26 August 1995, Thanh Vinh Co., Ltd (presently Nafoods Group Jsc.,) was established, emphasising in soft drink manufacturing and distribution.
Fresti - a new soft drink product of the company had been domestically introduced and distributed.
After a period from 1998 to 2000, Festi had competed fiercely with Coca-Cola and Pepsi Cola - Worldwide well known soft drink brands. In 2000, Thanh Vinh stopped manufacturing and distributing Festi for new projects.
Nghe An Foods Jsc., a subsidiary of Nafoods Group was founded, started to build the factory in western Nghe An province to manufacture pineapple juice concentrate.
The factory started operating and had been manufacturing pineapple juice concentrate.
The sole emphasis on manufacturing pineapple juice concentrate resulted in a sequential difficulties and challenges facing Nafoods.
Product diversification was the only alternative growth strategy that Nafoods could use to survive and grow.
In 2010, Nafoods confirmed as leading enterprises purchasing passionfruit from the Tay Nguyen area and Asia's leading export revenue of passionfruit concentrates in the EU and US markets.
Nafoods invested one more production line of IQF products, diversify products and expand export markets, solve the overall crisis global with the clear strategies development.
In addition to the main product is passion fruit, Gac fruit also invested and development material areas with more than 100 hectares. Nafoods Group exported Gac puree to the US market, and proud to become number one exporter Gac on the world.
In 2014, Nafoods Group proud to be the first enterprise and unique initiative production passion fruit seedling technique, high productivity in Vietnam.
On 30/07/2015, Nafoods Group was approved officially became a public company at the HOSE Stock Exchange. During 13 years of service to export to strict markets in the world such as Europe, America, Australia, Japan, South Korea. In 2016, Nafoods Group ready to conquer the domestic market with more than 90 million potential people with fruit juice concentrates JuiceSmile.
